Melissa Raatz, MSW, LICSW, CCTP, CHt

Melissa believes all clients hold the key to their own success and can be guided to that end in a safe, trusting, and honest environment. Building relationships and skills for growth, along with discovering understanding and healing are among her goals in therapy. Her personal journey through adoption, trauma, abuse, raising a child with mental health concerns, spiritual enlightenment, natural mental health, divorce, and remarriage have become the gifts she shares though therapy. She believe the keys essential to reaching any goal lies within each of us believing in ourselves and knowing that someone also believes in us.

Her experience is in working with trauma, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, selective mutism, oppositional behaviors, family change, loss and grief, parenting skills, adoption issues, and spiritual awakening. She enjoys teaching adults and children how to take control of their lives in mind, body, and spirit to navigate a stressful world.

She is trained/certified in a wide variety of areas. Master Accelerated Resolution Therapist, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Sand Tray, Mindfulness, NLP, EMDR, Coaching, Breathwork, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Healing Touch, Family Systems, Person Centered, Brainspotting (Phase 1 & 2).

Melissa is a MN Board of Social Work Approved Clinical Supervisor
