It is important to me that the clients I work with feel seen, heard, and supported when processing difficult life experiences and feelings. Through a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship, my goal is to help you get to the root cause of symptoms to help offer relief as well as redirect maladaptive patterns to positive changes.

As a considerate and genuine therapist, I am informed and specialize in childhood trauma, adult-onset trauma, relationships, anxiety, phobias and exposure therapy, depression, grief and loss. I utilize attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, self-psychology, and intersubjective theory to drive sessions with my clients.

I understand finding a therapist that you can trust and be vulnerable with is an important decision to make. I offer a free 15 minute initial consult over the phone to determine if we are a good fit for our sessions. Elliot received both her undergraduate degree and master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas.

Elliot is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) working towards her clinical license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), currently under supervision of Ph.D Colin Hollidge, LICSW and Melissa Raatz, MSW, LICSW—MN Board of Social Work Approved Supervisors.
