Welcome to a greater Minnesota health plan! PrimeWest Health is a unique and innovative health plan option for residents in our service area counties who are eligible to enroll in Minnesota’s Families and Children, MinnesotaCare, Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO), Minnesota Senior Care Plus (MSC+), or Special Needs BasicCare (SNBC) programs.

PrimeWest Health solely exists to help our members achieve healthier, fuller lives by cost-effectively improving their health care experience and advancing health equity. In fulfilling that purpose, we strive to achieve four goals for our members, which we call “4D” (four dimensions of optimal health care): improving our members’ health care experience (care outcomes, care quality, member satisfaction); improving member population health; achieving health equity across our entire member population; and improving the value of health care provided to our members. We pursue these goals within a set of organizational core values and guiding principles that put our members first, respect and support the providers who care for our members, and ensure public accessibility to and the integrity of our organization through operational transparency and accountability.
