Rebecca Tveten is now a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
We are proud to announce that Rebecca Tveten is now a fully licensed LICSW therapist!
To achieve this amazing landmark Rebecca has navigated through the following:
Undergraduate Degree in Human Development & Family Studies (4 years)
Master of Social Work Degree (2 years)
Passing the MN Board of Social Work exam as a "Licensed Graduate Social Worker"
Clincial Social Work Internship (2000 hours)
Clinical Supervised Practice (4000 hours)
Passing the MN Board of Social Work Licensing exam as a "Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker"
Countless hours getting numerous mental health certifications and trainings
On top of all that, she is currently persuing her Psy.D program (Doctor of Psychology) with her goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. This will enable Rebecca to not only continue her passion for helping clients heal their mental health, but also to do clinical assessments for clients who might need a higher level of care.
Rebecca specializes in working with clients with issues related to: Trauma, Adoption, Anxiety, Attachment disorders, Depression, Developmental disabilities, Domestic violence survivors, Co-occuring disorders, First responder/health worker stress, Goal setting, Grief and loss, Human trafficking and sexual exploitation survivors, Infertility, Post-traumatic stress disorder, Racial identity, and Sexual abuse survivors
She utilizes the following trauma informed, theraputic interventions: Brainspotting, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Solution focused, Psychodynamic, and Person centered.
